When wizard Addison Rhydderch goes out on a New Year's Eve date, he doesn't expect to end the night saving Manhattan from the undead. Afterward, he's tasked with the duties of Regent - protector of the fragile balance between the mundane and supernatural realms. The job is easier said than done, even with the aid of Saraia, a half-dryad who's as sultry as she is compassionate and strong. The attraction between them is immediate, powerful, and forbidden, but malevolent forces are threatening Saraia's nature spirit kin. Boundaries are tested as the new ruler and his companions are swept into a treacherous game of loyalty and betrayal. Addison's office is hounded by the shadow of a dark magician who seemingly kills without rhyme or reason, a man who consorts with devils and always keeps one step ahead. Addison and Saraia, assisted by new allies, must face the demonic uprising while resisting the sparks flying between them. 1. Language: English. Narrator: Will M. Watt. The town of Bath offers ample opportunities for mischief - and romance Carolyn Hardy, determined to hold out for the true love promised in the romance novels she devours, has already broken two betrothals. Although she attracts the attention of many men - including the Prince Regent's brother - she knows little of their more unsavory ways, and resents the efforts of her guardian, elegant Sydney Saint-Denis, to shield her from them. To prove her mettle, heedless of any risk, Carolyn flirts more outrageously than ever, even with a gypsy prince. She certainly doesn't view Sydney as a potential suitor. In no way does the foppish man resemble the hero of her dreams. But she will learn that there's more to Sydney than meets the eye...The Bath Charade is the second book of the Bath Trilogy, which also includes The Bath Quadrille and The Bath Eccentric's Son. 1. Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Katharine Mary Adela Maddison, née Tindal (15 December 1862 12 June 1929), usually known as Adela Maddison, was a British composer of operas, ballets, instrumental music and songs. She was also a concert producer. She composed a number of French songs in the style of mélodies, for some years she lived in Paris, where she was a pupil, friend and possibly lover of Gabriel Fauré. Subsequently living in Berlin, she composed a German opera which was staged in Leipzig. On returning to England she created works for Rutland Boughton's Glastonbury Festivals. She was born at 42 York Terrace, Regent's Park, London on 15 December 1862 (rather than in 1866 as is sometimes stated), the daughter of Vice Admiral Louis Symonds Tindal (1811 76) and Henrietta Maria O'Donel Whyte (1831/2 1917).

Camden Town

Camden Town perfectly embodies the cultural mix for which London is famed. Alongside the buzzing Lock market, the pubs and music venues and the eclectic shops, there is another Camden - impossible crowds, shameful poverty, bad housing, gang fights, murders...This book takes five landmarks as the starting point for a series of journeys into the layers of history and culture that make Camden Town. The World's End pub existed in various forms before Camden began. The Regent's Canal Bridge is where today's crowds flock to the locks and market, while Arlington House, just a block away, belongs to a parallel Camden of immigration and new beginnings, poverty and homelessness. No. 8 Royal College Street represents how, even with the first buildings of nineteenth-century Camden Town, social outsiders were attracted to the area. Meanwhile the Roundhouse, an engineering curiosity, was to become the revered centre of Camden's cultural scene.
